Several bus services serving northern towns will be rerouted from Sunday to reflect new road layouts near construction zones.
Temporary stops have been marked with updated signage, and printed timetables are available at major interchanges.
Commuters should check the public transport portal for stop changes that may affect first and last bus timings.
Services 811, 812, and 859 will bypass two stops near an active construction zone, adding approximately three minutes to northbound journeys during off-peak hours. Replacement stops have been placed within a five-minute walk of the original locations.
Land Transport Authority officers will be stationed at Yishun and Sembawang interchanges during the first weekday morning to assist passengers unfamiliar with the revised routes. Audio announcements on affected buses have been updated to reflect the temporary paths.
The rerouting is expected to remain in place until road resurfacing and lane realignment works conclude in late October. Regular reviews will determine whether any adjustments are needed based on commuter feedback.
